So that we can gain access to the data in your Google Analytics account you will need to create a new User for our Vital Stats email vitalstats.ga@gmail.com

Google Analytics allows you to grant access to other users so you can share your data with them, or give them more permissions to do things like manage users, edit settings, etc. Our support team may ask to be granted access to your Google Analytics account in order to help you troubleshoot any issues. Granting access is the most secure way to share your site’s data without having to share your login details.

In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to grant user access in Google Analytics.

Add users to Analytics

You can add as many users as you need. To add a new user to an account or property:

  1. In Google Analytics, click Admin.
  2. Make sure you are in the correct account and property.
  3. In the Account or Property column (depending upon where you want to add users), click Access Management.
  4. In the Account/Properties permissions list click +, then click Add users.
  5. Enter our email address vitalstats.ga@gmail.com
  6. Select Notify new users by email to send a message to the user.
  7. Select the permissions you want. Read and Analyse is adequate access.
  8. Click Add.

The Google email address you use to add a user and the password associated with that address become the Analytics login credentials for that user.

Finally let us know your GA4 property ID by submitting this form using the email address on your account.

To find the measurement ID of your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property in order to copy/paste it in the module, follow the following procedure:

In the "Account" column select the account on which you have created the GA4 property and, in the drop-down menu of properties, select the Google Analytics 4 property:

If you have created a GA4 property by associating it with an existing UA property, your GA4 property has an ID beginning with "GA4".

If you have created only a GA4 property (without an associated UA property), your GA4 property has a numeric ID only:

Copy that number between the brackets and submit it via our form here.

In this case above it would be 285414820.
